Any student of any major can join AXS!

The only thing that is required to pledge and join is an interest and love for chemistry.
​
On the right is the list of events for this spring's rush. Information on each will be explained at the information meeting on Monday, March 17th in M103 from 5 to 6pm, as well as below.
FAQs
What if I can't make any of the events?
​
No worries! We would still love to have you be a part of our fraternity! All we ask is that you send our rush chair an email so we can find a time that works with you to meet with one of us!

What is required to be an active brother?
​
It's easy, attend weekly chapters (Mondays, 6:00-7:00pm at the latest) and pay the yearly dues of $80. If you can't make it to a chapter, all you would need to do is let our recorder know why.

How much does it cost to join ΑΧΣ?
​
There is a one-time, lifetime membership fee of $200, and then an annual fee of $80 (starting next year). If there are any issues with costs, we would be happy to work with you to create a payment plan that is right for you!
Event Overview
3/17 - Info Session about all things ΑΧΣ from 5 to 6pm in room M103. There will be some light snacks and drinks, as well as a presentation about ΑΧΣ with an open time for questions.
3/18 - Catalyst Dating is simply speed dating, just chemistry related. We will all meet on the first floor of the NAB at 5:30pm to drive to Java Haute as a group! Rushees will have their coffee paid for, but if you don't want coffee, you can still come to get to know brothers!

3/20 - We will be watching five chemistry-related Bill Nye episodes from 6 to 8pm in room O105. There will be popcorn and drinks provided.

3/25 - There will be tons of "AXS" and crafts projects available to do in room O105 from 6 to 7:30pm. Some of the featured crafts:​​

3/27 - At 7pm, we will all meet on the first floor of the NAB and head over to Chavas for good food and good vibes! Chips and Dips will be provided for the rushees attending.

3/31 - The Pledge Ceremony is where you will officially become Alpha Chi Sigma pledges! The ceremony will be invitation only, which you will receive by email, on Sunday, March 30th.
